How to Claim the 50% MSME Digital Grant MADANI for Your Website (2026)

If you run a small business in Malaysia, the government may pay for half of your new website. Most owners do not claim it, usually because the process sounds complicated. It is not. Here is how it works in plain language.

What is the MSME Digital Grant MADANI?

It is a federal grant that helps small and micro businesses go digital. It is delivered through BSN with a list of approved technology providers, known as TSPs. There is also a separate Selangor grant through SIDEC for businesses based in Selangor. Both work on the same idea.

How much can you get?

Both grants match 50 percent of your spend, up to RM5,000. So if your website build plus the first year of care comes to RM5,000, you pay about RM2,500 and the grant covers the rest. You pay half, you own all of it.

Who qualifies?

  • +SSM registered business
  • +At least 60 percent Malaysian-owned
  • +Operating for 6 months or more
  • +Annual turnover of RM50,000 or more
  • +A business bank account in the company name

How the claim works with ViaVA

We issue a grant-claimable invoice through our endorsed TSP partner. We itemise each line, then bundle the build and the first 12 months of Care into one invoice capped at RM5,000, so you pay half. From month thirteen, the Care plan bills on its own, outside the grant.

What to prepare

  • +Your SSM registration
  • +Business bank account details
  • +A short description of what you want the website to do
  • +Your logo and any photos, if you have them

Grant programs and provider listings change each funding cycle, so we confirm your eligibility and the current channel before we quote. Want us to check if you qualify? WhatsApp us at +60 12-384 8838 for a free proposal.
